Tommy Branch Jr. Announces Candidacy
Tommy Branch Jr., a devoted advocate for at-risk youth and faith-driven community development, has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Pulaski County Justice of the Peace, District 5 in the March 3, 2026 election.
With over two decades of service to Pulaski County, Branch’s career has been defined by a commitment to public service, most notably through his work with the AR Department of Human Services (DHS) Youth Services Division. Over the years, he has played an important role in supporting vulnerable youth, helping them successfully navigate the juvenile justice system, access educational opportunities, and achieve stability through mentoring and rehabilitation programs.
“Serving with DHS Youth Services opened my eyes to both the struggles and the promise of our young people. These kids deserve more than a second chance – they deserve a community that sees them, supports them, and helps them thrive. That’s what I’ve been doing, and that’s what I’ll continue to fight for on the Quorum Court.”
Branch graduated from Philander Smith University with a B.A. in Business Administration and has received an MBA in Project Management. He is currently a member of Little Rock Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. In his spare time, Branch is an avid musician proficient in several instruments.
Alongside his parents, who are local pastors in the district, and through his church, he has ministered to families and youth, led mentorship programs, and organized initiatives such as food and clothing drives.
He is a proud father of two children and two grandchildren, and is an active member of the ARK of Safety Stronger Together Apostolic Church where his parents currently pastor.
